Purpose
Driven Defense Quotes
You are wasting everyone's time
by spending so much energy on it. I have no need of knowing
the details of any false doctrines.
You should
be ashamed of yourself for making your discontent that of
others, especially that of other churches and other
districts.
Your
arrogance to judge that anyone who disagrees with your
beliefs is in error is nothing short of the contentious
divisiveness that the Apostle Paul warned Titus regarding
when he said, “Warn a divisive person once, and then warn
him a second time. After that, have nothing to do with
him.” (Titus 3:10).
You would be
wise to heed the voice of the Holy Spirit in Proverbs 26:21,
pride only breeds quarrels, but wisdom is found in those who
take advice.
Your effort to take your personal
conviction and use it to demean the sincere, Jesus devoted, God
fearing leaders of churches, districts, even our Fellowship
saddens God’s heart and places you in a dangerous place of
incurring His wrath (read Genesis to Revelation to better
understand that if this thought doesn’t resonate with you)!
I pray the Holy Spirit will
reveal to you whatever fight from your past that you are
struggling to win now vicariously through this shameful attempt
to slander the Bride of Christ so that your heart may be
healed. I pray that you will ask for the forgiveness of all
just as publicly as you have sinned
You would be wise as well to consider the
Apostle Paul’s warning of sharing in the Lord’s Supper in an
unworthy manner until you have humbled yourself.
I suggest you stop reading books that
capitalize on the popularity of a person and
look at lives that are being changed.
I have grown up in the A/G and know A/G
doctrine better than you do. I'm not interested in debating on
minute points of doctrine that are not vital to salvation.
And, I would caution you not to create
theological issues out of preference matters, or style choices.
A person like yourself is
to be pitied, for though you throw accusation about
deception, I would say that you seem to be the one deceived.
I would also guess that you secretly enjoy the
controversy and attention you draw to yourself which, if
true, is an indication of the most insidious sin -
Pride.
If you persist in your attacks, your corner of
Heaven will be awfully lonely.
When I read your e-mails, like this one, I get the
impression that you are out to make a name for
yourself, rather than trying to protect the truth,
or to protect Christ's church.
In my humble opinion, and I do not know this
individual personally, this individual seems to have
an ax to grind and not a genuine concern about
“Pentecostal doctrinal”.
What
is it to you what I or anyone else does.
What I
am quite sure you consider protecting the purity of the
faith is, to me, an exercise in dividing the Body of Christ.
So,
I prefer that you and your ilk spend your precious time on
earth to each other, puffing up yourselves in spiritual
pride, and pretending that you alone are the elect.
People who show little fruit in soul winning seem to love
to attack those who do. Is it personal guilt? Jealousy? or a Pharisaical spirit? Jesus rebuked the
Disciples for correcting others who were acting in His Name saying, " If
they are not against me they are for me"
Did God commission you to correct his servants?
I think not.
